Raising a teenager can feel like a rollercoaster, one moment they’re open and engaged, the next they’re distant or overwhelmed. As a therapist who specializes in working with teens and their families, I help young people navigate life’s challenges while strengthening the connections that matter most.

I work with teens who are struggling with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, school pressure, and relationship conflicts. My goal is to create a safe space where your teen feels heard and supported, while also helping you, as a parent, better understand and connect with them.

My approach combines proven methods like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adlerian therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In simple terms, this means I help teens explore their emotions, understand their inner world, build healthier thinking patterns, and develop a strong sense of identity and belonging.

Whenever it’s helpful, I involve parents or the whole family in the process. Family dynamics often play a key role in a teen’s emotional well-being, and lasting change happens when everyone feels seen, supported, and part of the solution.

If your teen is struggling—or if your family is stuck in patterns that aren’t working—I’m here to help. Together, we can create a path forward that brings more understanding, connection, and peace to your home.

I am a Licensed Professional Counseling in Texas and California. I accept some insurance and offer private pay rates. Please reach out for more information about cost of sessions and scheduling. I look forward to working with you.
